Jenna advises clients on issues relating to taxation and employee benefits in both the public and private sector. Jenna joined Groom in 2022 after practicing at a national law firm where she advised on plan design, fiduciary rules and prohibited transactions, and examined nondiscrimination testing for compliance.
Jenna graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and the American University Washington College of Law. While in law school, she completed a judicial internship for the Department of Employment Services of the District of Columbia, participated in the Janet R. Spragens Federal Tax Clinic, and served as a Training Coordinator for D.C. Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (“VITA”). She was also a board member of the Labor and Employment Law Society and the American University Business Law Review
Outside of practicing law, Jenna’s interests include vegetarian cooking and wildlife photography. She is professionally work proficient in Spanish and Moroccan Arabic.
