Groom senior counsel Joanne Jacobson will speak at the National Association of Public Pension Attorneys (“NAPPA”) 2025 Legal Education Conference (“LEC”). The LEC provides offers NAPPA members an opportunity to meet with peers in the public pension field and share practical solutions to current issues facing the industry. The conference will take place June 24 through June 27, 2025 in Denver, Colorado.
Jacobson will join the panel, “Catch-ups, Audits, DOGE — Oh My!” on June 25, 2025 at 1:45 p.m. MT to cover developments from SECURE 2.0 on catch-up contributions and Roth requirements, developments in IRS audit activity, and the current state of staffing and regulations at the IRS and Treasury.
