Groom principals Michael Kreps, chair of the firm’s Retirement Services group, and Samuel Levin will present at the Pensions & Investments conference, “Pension Derisking: Fresh Opportunities in a Stronger Funded World,” to take place October 8-9, 2024 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Kreps and Levin will present the panel, “Current U.S. Retirement Plan Litigation and Strategies,” at 9:00 am on October 9th. The panel will include an update on the Department of Labor (“DOL”) “Retirement Security Rule” and Interpretive Bulletin 95-1, recent court decisions addressing fiduciary liability, and steps plans and their professionals can take to mitigate risk.
