Groom Webinar: Fiduciary Rule Paused By Courts (July 30, 2024)

Last week, two courts issued preliminary decisions pausing DOL’s 2024 redefinition of “fiduciary” and its changes to exemptions, including PTEs 2020-02 and PTE 84-24.  The 45 minute webinar provided an overview of the decisions, described the next steps procedurally, and forecasted how the challenges will ultimately play out.
