In this webinar, Groom attorneys will provide an overview of the new compensation disclosure rules applicable to certain brokerage and consulting activities, as enacted as part of the Consolidated Appropriation Act, 2021 (“CAA”).  While we expect some implementing rules or guidance may be issued by the agencies, these new requirements (which are scheduled to take effect in late 2021) will generally require entities providing qualifying brokerage and consulting services to certain group health plans to disclose upfront to plan fiduciaries related direct and indirect compensation with respect to such services.  These new rules are likely to affect a host of group health plan service providers, including brokers and consultants.  Our panelists will provide an overview of the relevant statutory language as well as potential implications for service providers and plan fiduciaries.
