Simon Lee joins Groom for our DEI Summer Law Intern Pilot Program, where he is directly supporting a firm client as he learns the ins and outs of legal service and benefits, health, and retirement law. Simon is currently a student at Texas A&M University School of Law and will graduate with his JD in 2025. Prior to law school, Simon pursued a career in STEM in molecular biology. He also served as a volunteer with the Innocence Project and worked as a regional technician with the United States Census Bureau.
Groom’s DEI Summer Law Intern Pilot Program was introduced this year and gives diverse candidates a multifaceted internship experience where they work directly with an in-house legal department, both onsite and virtually from Groom, under the guidance of Groom attorneys.
