Groom principals George Sepsakos and Jeff Witt are speaking at the CIO, PLANADVISER, and PLANSPONSOR DB Summit 2023, taking place March 8 – 9, 2023 and centered around the reexamining of defined benefit plans.
Designed to help plan sponsors that have or are considering adding a DB plan make the important decisions, Sepsakos’ panel, “PRT Implementation and Fiduciary Considerations,” will cover pension risk transfer steps and key fiduciary decisions, timelines, and more regarding process, duties, and considerations for plan sponsors. This session will take place 11:00 – 12:00 p.m. ET on March 9, 2023.
Witt’s session, “Factors in DB Plan Decisionmaking,” will outline administrative and financial considerations for plan sponsors questioning whether or not to keep their defined benefit plans active. This panel is scheduled for 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. ET on March 8, 2023.
